Ploverstomp.com was a site created to spread awareness about Snowy Plovers and beach access. Some say the Snowy Plover is endangered due to natural selection, some say otherwise. Either way the beach access issue and Snowy Plovers is a hot topic! This site utilizes an online store, a JQuerey Javascript, and has an urban design.
Cal Poly Magazine Online
This template was designed for Cal Poly Magazine Online. It uses a 2 column CSS layout with 3 smaller columns positioned in the left column. The template is ADA compliant and remains cohesive to the entire Cal Poly site while utilizing a fresh design required for the online magazine. After creating the template I trained the Web Author for the magazine on implementing it into the current site.
Cal Poly 2009 Fall Conference
I was contracted to build a a two page template for Cal Poly's Fall Conference website. The template was then utilized by personel with in the Center for Teaching and Learning department to build the site.
Volbrecht Surveys
Volbrecht Surveys is a long-standing land surveying company that is highly respected in the local community. They hired me create a simple site that was easy to navigate and showcased their services. Simple in structure and design, this site utilizes a JavaScript accordion on the homepage for immediate access to the key elements of their business. It also gives the user an interactive experience.
Wine Country Gourmet
I was hired by Leah Kolt to redesign winecountrygourmet.com. She wanted a new simple design that would allow her to complete updates using Dreamweaver on her home computer. I designed this simple 3 column layout that works in Dreamweaver’s design mode, allowing Leah to update her site without using code mode, which can be daunting for non-web developers. With a 3 hour training session I instructed her how to use the site, add archives, add slide show via web-shot, and up-date links. She now maintains the site and content.
Reveal Bali
This site was designed for the fictitious company Reveal Bali. I developed everything from the logo and company philosophy to the site structure and design. Designed as a simple brochure site, it effectively communicates the feel and sprit of Reveal Bali.
LHB & Associates
This Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Development firm located in San Luis Obispo needed website that gave customers a place to go to learn more about their business and past projects. I collaborated with LHB & Associates to create this website that catered to their specific needs and previously designed logo. Designed with search engine optimization (SEO) in mind from the start, this site is easily accesible for clients through search engins. Abella|Skin Care for Surfers
This was literally one of the first websites I ever did. This site really spawned my desire to learn more about the web development industry. At the start of this project I didn’t even know what CSS was. By the end I had surpassed all my expectation by creating a 7 page site that easily to get around and aesthetically pleasing. I creaed the logo as well and a super-imposed it on to standard skin car packaging with Photohop.
